In 2003, it had increased to US $ 2.16 billion dollars and in 2004 it is estimated to have gone up to US $ 2.29 billion.
Over a ten year period from 1994 to 2004, the global import had increased by 35.21%, during the corresponding period, India’s export had increased by 34.18%
